Abstract

We present a newly diagnosed case of Erdheim-Chester disease in a patient who presented with influenza-like symptoms, and whose course was complicated with life-threatening hypercalcemia. The imaging features were characteristic, and diagnosis was confirmed with immunohistochemical staining. The FDG-PET-CT was useful in diagnosis and follow-up.
