Instructions to Authors
Scope of Journal: International Journal of Biomedical and Clinical Analysis is an official journal of the Research Lake International Inc. This journal publishes broader research perspectives including microbiology, genetics, physiology, public health, clinical and medical engineering, biochemistry, and computational aspects related to biomedical sciences. The main aim of the biomedical and clinical analysis is to discover ways to prevent ill-health and to develop beneficial products, medications, and procedures to treat and cure diseases and conditions that cause illness and death in ourselves, our families and friends, our pets, farm animals, and wildlife. It mainly provides scientists and clinicians with the latest findings and trials on the optimum therapies to monitor biomedical research.
Manuscripts for submission to IJBCA should be prepared according to the following instructions. If an author does not comply with these instructions, those manuscripts will be sent back to the authors or it will delay in publication.
Submission & Review Policies
Submission of manuscript:
All authors of an article must have accepted its contribution to IJBCA and responsible for the total content including summary, citations, and acknowledgments, and should agree that the corresponding author has the authority to act on their behalf regarding the submission, revision, and final publication of the paper.
An author can submit the Manuscript online via the journal website or can send it as an attachment through an email to editor.ijbca@researchlakejournals.com.
Peer-review process: All submitted manuscripts are considered as very confidential and peer-reviewed by eminent scientific experts of our Journal Editorial board and anonymous reviewers. All submitted manuscripts are accepted based on the quality and novelty of the research and its scientific importance. Once the final revised or accepted manuscript completes the review process and proof editing work done as per the IJBCA format and criteria, it will be scheduled for publication in the upcoming issue. If any manuscript rejected in the review process then those papers won’t be peer-reviewed again.
Revision of manuscripts: After completing the review process by handling editorial board members and reviewers the corresponding author is notified as soon as possible of the Editor’s decision to accept, reject, or request revision of manuscripts. When reviewers’ comments or suggestions are sent back to the corresponding author for revision, the author should submit the revised manuscript along with the response to reviewers as a cover letter describing the modifications that have been made as per every comment or suggestion given by reviewers. Any author fails to resubmit the revised manuscript within 4-6 weeks of the Editorial decision, it will be removed from our journal databases or considered as withdrawal by sending final notification to the respective author.
Accepted manuscripts: IJBCA will send all page proofs electronically to corresponding authors in PDF format, and the corresponding author must review their final version of PDF within 24-48 hours. If any typographical errors, incorrect data, grammatical errors, and updating information on references that were in press author can request the editorial office to make corrections but It is advised that this editing is only for limited changes but not for extensive corrections, additions, or deletions. Authors need to mark up their corrections on PDF and those marked-up pages along with the corrections list can be sent to the journal editorial office by e-mail at editor.ijbca@researchlakejournals.com
Publication charges:
Publishing with open access is not without costs, as we are not receiving any funding from external sources such as academic institutions, learned societies, government grants. International Journal of Biomedical and Clinical Research [IJBCA] defrays those costs from article-processing charges (APCs) payable by authors once the manuscript has been accepted for publication. IJBCA does not have subscription charges. Corresponding authors of accepted manuscripts for publication will receive an e-mail notifying them how to pay the publication charges by the journal editorial office.
The article processing fee or manuscript handling cost is 1199 USD, however, authors based out of lower and middle income economies are eligible for discounted price, subjected to the discretion of Research Lake committee of discounts, and please reach out to admin@researchlakejournals.com with authors name, affiliation, and the country specifics.

Short Communications or Commentary articles describe basic or informative notes of leader’s opinions on the significant subjects and readers’ comments on published articles in IJBCA and responses from the authors.
Editorials present information about the assessments, principles, and policy of the editors or specialists in the Biomedical field, mainly on ongoing scientific or clinical significance to the academic community and research organizations.
Organization of manuscript
The manuscript should be prepared in the following sequence:
Cover letter, title page with authors and affiliations, abstract, keywords, main text, acknowledgments, references, table legends followed by tables, figure legends followed by figures.
Cover letter, title page, and figures Should be on separate files, and main texts are differently organized according to the publication type.

The cover letter to the Editor must declare that a submitted manuscript has not been published and is not under simultaneous consideration for publication elsewhere except in the form of an abstract. The cover letter must also state that the authors agree that the manuscript may be considered as repeated or copied if the manuscript contains any part of the content that has already been published in any other article. The cover letter along with the manuscript must mention the type of manuscript and declaration on ethical issues and conflict of interests and complete contact information for the corresponding author.
2) Title page
The title page must include the title of the manuscript with a short running title, the author's highest degrees (e.g., MD, Ph.D.), and their affiliations including name, detailed address, telephone number, and email of each author.
3) Abstract and keywords
All original research, review articles, and case reports must include abstracts of 200 to 250 words and should include the Objectives, Methods, Results, and Conclusions of the study. Minimum five keywords should be listed at the bottom of the abstract. The selection of keywords should be done carefully because they will be used for subject indexing in this Journal and in other databases.
